Which solvent streams occur in a paint shop?
Automated paint and colour-change processes generate contaminated purge solvent, cleaning solvent and thinner containing paint components and other contaminants. Their composition and variation depend on paint system, robot programme and production schedule.

How is a fully integrated Closed Loop created?
The actual solvent is first trial-distilled and the required quality is validated with the customer. The SLD is then connected to tanks, piping, controls, ventilation and the site's safety systems.
During operation, contaminated solvent is recovered automatically and the distillate returns directly to the validated point of use. Regular samples and process data monitor stability; separate handling between recovery and reuse is eliminated.
Can the distillate be reused in the paint shop?
Yes. Direct reuse is not an optional secondary scenario at current Batsch installations; it is a prerequisite for the project. All current customers return the recovered solvent directly to their process after initial validation.
What must be considered when integrating the system?
