How does an operating-model project start?
The project begins with actual material, a representative sample and the intended reuse quality. Trial distillation confirms technical suitability and establishes recovery and distillate quality.
Batsch and the customer then plan tanks, piping, utilities, controls, ventilation, safety interfaces and the operating responsibilities. Only after validation and site planning is the modular SLD configuration defined.

How is the service billed?
Billing is based on the actual volume of contaminated solvent processed. This replaces investment in a customer-owned system with a predictable ongoing recovery service.
The agreed price depends on the material, monthly volume, site, system configuration and scope of service. Operation, monitoring, maintenance and service are defined for each project.
Which projects are suitable?
The operating model is intended for sites with a regular volume of at least 15,000 litres of contaminated solvent per month and a planned minimum term of two years. The recovered solvent must be suitable for stable return to production after initial validation.
We assess suitability based on the material, volume profile, quality requirements, site conditions and integration concept. Smaller or fluctuating solvent streams are also evaluated individually.
